STOCKman - Works Order Processing
The Works Order Processing (W.O.P.) module gives you a greater control as you progress a sales order through it's production routes.
Works Orders
The W.O.P. module allows you to allocate stock to a sales order. You simply select which item(s) of stock you wish to use and the system will determine how much of that stock is needed to fulfil the order, and takes into account scrap elements.
As soon as the stock is allocated, the stock enquiry systems are updated, so that all other users on the system can see that the stock is no longer available to sell.
With it's intelligent allocation mechanism, STOCKman will allow you to calculate the efficiency and profitability of your works order.
The works order can also contain various cutting details, and works instructions such as
- Decoil to 2000mm length,
- Shear into 3 cuts of 350mm across the length
- Cut 10 blanks across width to give 350mm x 200mm
- Blank widest offcut into 6 blanks.
Production Recording
STOCKman also allows you to have a means whereby once stock has been processed the works staff can record it and has built in quality checks, and the ability to specify returns, and scrap weights.
The processed stock can then be seen from the stock enquiry screen within STOCKman, thus enabling the sales team to see the process of works orders from their desks.
Production & Despatch
The W.O.P. suite of programs also comprises of a works order review program. This allows you to see processed stock and select works orders for delivery. You simply select which packs of a work order you want delivering, and the system creates the despatch notes for you.
